A recent study showed that chewing gum for children and adolescents leads to headaches, and leave this habit alone appears sufficient to treat pain without the need of any medication or other evidence.
The scientists in this study conducted with 30 patients have asked children and adolescents with headache or migraine symptoms have asked them to stop chewing gum for a month, which fully shows that 26 people were improved significantly of symptoms, and 19 people headaches permanently cured.
To confirm the results, the scientists asked 20 people from patients who have improved chewing gum back, symptoms of headache returned them all immediately, confirming the close correlation between chewing gum and pains head, despite the small number of study participants.
